Music garlic seed and eating garlic is a favorite here at Adams Garlic.
First of all, the name “Music” makes me just want to sit back with a glass of lemonade, watch a beautiful sunset, and listen…to the music, or the wind in the trees, or the birds…
I’m not sure that it’s the name, but Music garlic is a favorite in our home and for our customers. With its rich and strong, robust and musky flavor, Music garlic has a medium to hot kick when eaten raw, but in its cooked form Music offers an incredible garlicky flavor to any dish. Because each bulb contains five to seven very large, easy-to-peel cloves, cooking with Music is a breeze.
For the garlic grower, Music garlic seed will plant approximately 40 cloves for every pound of seed. The plants are vigorous, tall, dark and vibrant green, and the germination rate is excellent. I have read that Music appears resistant to many diseases that affect garlic. Music is a reliable hardneck garlic to grow.
Music garlic is an heirloom garlic brought to Canada by Al Music from his homeland of Italy. It is a porcelain hardneck and with white wrappers and beautifully rose-colored cloves. Music garlic stores for nine to twelve months under the proper storage conditions.
